Brinsea Hatchmaster A Automatic Incubator
If the Polyhatch’s 42 chicken egg capacity is not enough for you then the Hatchmaster A is the next step up. Built to the same superb standards and with the same features but with a capacity of 104 chicken eggs.
Brinsea’s Automatic egg turning system ensures that eggs of virtually any size are turned safely every hour, although special troughs are available if quail eggs are to be incubated.
At the end of the incubation period the Hatchmaster A then doubles as a hatcher by simply disconnecting the turning mechanism and removing the dividing rods to ensure newly hatched chicks can not injure themselves on the mechanism. Indeed the natural convection system employed by the Hatchmaster A, and other Brinsea still air incubators, produce superb hatching conditions.
Digital temperature control ensures the set temperature remains stable, an external spindle control allowing it to be varied manually with fine adjustments possible. The swivel mounted sensor and thermometer allow for any variation in egg sizes. With external access to the water reservoir there is no need to open the unit, causing fluctuations in temperature.
Each machine is moulded from integrally skinned structural polyurethane which has a core of thermal insulation and hard, durable, impervious surfaces making it readily washable and tough enough to withstand scrubbing.
Polyurethane is amongst the toughest of plastics and must not be confused with cheap, fragile alternatives like expanded polystyrene which can also be difficult to clean effectively and can hold bacteria.
The excellent thermal properties of polyurethane foam result in low heat losses and low power consumption.
Even the removable viewing window is double glazed in the pursuit of efficiency.
When purchasing this unit remember chick rearing lamps - as long as the eggs incubated are fertile, you’ll need them!.
